New Year, New Me ?

ree

Well if you are anything like me, it's that time of the year when you either are still thinking about your New Years resolutions or they have already been well and truly broken. Mindfulness invites us to stop living in some future life that has not happened, or being nostalgic about things that have passed, instead we are resourced

to experience what is really present for us right now. This might be an acknowledgement that our bodies are tired due to lack of sleep or movement, it may be an awareness that

perhaps chocolate for breakfast is not such a good idea !. However mindfulness is not just awareness, the real difference is the attitudes that we bring to our experience. At this time of the year when we naturally turn to the things that we might like to change about ourselves, bring kindness, compassion and non judgement, all of which can be cultivated through a mindfulness practice . You may still want to hit the gym, lose those pounds, abstain from your vice of choice but remember that you are enough !

Thanks for reading and may you be well, may you be safe and live with ease !
